P01Tropical Site and Resilience Baseline
A structured review of heat, rain, humidity, noise, access, utilities, maintenance and operating conditions before the concept is fixed.
Featured protocol
DALLEAU Atelier protocols
Nine protocols connect the site, household brief, protected rooms, environmental systems, specialist appointments, commissioning, operations and asset memory.
Private Brief, Feasibility Study and Full Development Mandate remain the public ways to engage DALLEAU.
How Atelier enters the work
The protocol system strengthens DALLEAU’s existing commercial architecture. It does not compete with it. The client does not have to assemble a technical menu.
Group 01
Before design decisions become expensive to reverse, DALLEAU records the site conditions, operating modes, household journeys, privacy requirements and unresolved risks that the project has to carry.
P01A structured review of heat, rain, humidity, noise, access, utilities, maintenance and operating conditions before the concept is fixed.
Featured protocol
P02A residence brief built around arrival, hosting, privacy, staff movement, retreat, children, work, service and change over time.
Group 02
These protocols resolve questions that are often split between architects, engineers, specialists, integrators, contractors and operators. DALLEAU keeps the owner’s intent visible across those boundaries.
P03An integrated bedroom protocol for light, darkness, quiet, thermal stability, humidity, airflow, privacy, control and night-time operation.
Featured protocol
P04A room-by-room method for moisture, outdoor air, source control, extraction, filtration, vacancy, maintenance and measurable environmental conditions.
Featured protocol
P05A specialist-led study of quiet-side planning, privacy, event noise, rain, equipment, vibration and night-time operation.
P06A practical adaptability plan for access, bathrooms, routes, controls, future supports, staff workflows and changing household needs.
P07A readiness review for local control, manual override, network and power resilience, replaceability, privacy, cybersecurity and clear handover.
Group 03
Intent is carried into tests, training, corrective actions, the Building Passport and post-occupancy learning.
P08A plan to test the residence as built, tune it in use, train the people operating it and carry lessons into the next project.
Featured protocol
P09An owner-readable record of decisions, assets, hidden work, tests, settings, warranties, maintenance and later changes.
Where the protocols act
A gate may be passed with an open item only when the remaining risk, responsible party, due date and effect on later work are recorded.
Site evidence, operating assumptions and material red flags are recorded before a land or concept recommendation.
Owner use, guest patterns, privacy, staff routes, retreat, service and residence modes are resolved before the room programme hardens.
Performance questions become criteria, specialist scopes and mock-up requirements.
Exact products, interfaces, service access and concealed work are verified before purchase or closure.
Rooms and systems are tested in their intended modes before release.
The residence is reviewed in use and the Building Passport is updated.
Release conditions
A project target is linked to its source class, owner decision, responsible specialist and method of verification.
High-risk concealed work is not covered until the required photographs, tests, location record and sign-off are complete.
The exact model, interface, constraint, local support and maintenance access are confirmed before purchase order.
The party designing, selling or installing a system is not the only party validating a material public performance claim.
Critical settings, vacancy modes, staff actions, alerts, manual overrides and escalation routes are trained and documented.
Evidence grade, method, privacy, permission, specialist review, limitations and net impression are checked before release.
Two records, two different jobs
A concise record of owner objectives, options, risks, appointed specialists, hold points, deviations, accepted conditions and approvals. It explains why the project moved forward.
The residence record for assets, drawings, hidden work, photographs, tests, settings, warranties, maintenance, incidents and later changes.
The review of how the residence performs in use, what was corrected and what can reasonably be carried into a future project or public Applied Note.
Appointed expertise
Architects, engineers, building scientists, acousticians, lighting specialists, commissioning providers, occupational therapists, integrators, cybersecurity advisers and other appointed specialists retain responsibility for their professional conclusions and acceptance criteria.
